Saturday Fundraising Banquet – 7:00pm

Banquet
Having fun at a previous banquet

Join the best-known cohousing activists and professionals as they come together for the 2010 fundraising banquet. The Saturday night banquet is a highlight of the conference – and it’s a great way to raise money for the movement we all passionately believe in: cohousing!

All proceeds support the Cohousing Association of the United States (Coho/US) – a 501(c)(3) non-profit association, so contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Featuring a live auction, the 2010 banquet will be bigger and better than ever. It’s hosted in the Stadium Club at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. Known for the “best view” in Boulder, the Stadium Club boasts floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the Flatirons and Boulder’s picturesque surroundings. The event will be festive – you'll see all manner of attire, so please dress up as much or as little as you wish.

Live Auction

Kevin Benedict returns as our professional auctioneer. At the live auction, you can win some great items while supporting the cohousing movement. Bid on coho-expert visits, coho-vacations, international vacations, Coho/US experiences, Coho/US advertising, Coho/US gear, and other items. To learn more about this banquet highlight, visit the auctions page and the auction catalog.

In addition to coming with your wallet, please consider making an auction donation to help make the auction even more successful.

Dancing

After the auction, a DJ will provide dance music for all ages (well, maybe not teenagers). Many genres of music offer something for everyone, so bring your dancing shoes – or just hang out and enjoy.

Tickets

Full conference registration and diamond, platinum, and gold sponsorships include the banquet, but why not bring friends, family, or business associates? Banquet tickets are available separately for $75 – and you do not need to attend the conference to purchase tickets.

To register for the banquet alone, register now and choose the last registration option (“Saturday fundraising banquet only”).
