Did you know that almost 30% of all households in the U.S. are now one person living alone? This session will present some available data on demographics and preferences of people living alone. Elizabeth Trice will host a discussion about the relationship between cohousing communities and one-person households.
Elizabeth Trice works in a county Community Development office in Portland, Maine, and consults on innovative housing developments through her company, EcoLofts Housing. She has a master’s degree in public policy and has received awards for her research on the housing needs of people living alone.
