2010 Scholarships

Please read this information carefully before you apply for a scholarship (by clicking the link at the bottom of this page).

Scholarships will be available for the three-day conference and for Saturday-only attendance. If you receive a scholarship, your registration fee will be discounted by 50%. You will need to cover all other conference expenses (the rest of the conference fee, housing, travel, etc.) on your own.

To receive a conference scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be a first-time conference attendee.
• You would not be able to attend the conference without financial aid.
• You have sufficient resources to cover the additional expenses of the conference.
• You are currently actively involved in cohousing or plan to become actively involved in the future.

Who should apply for a scholarship? Anyone who is a first-time conference attendee, has a burning passion to learn more about cohousing, absolutely could not attend without receiving financial aid, and has the resources to cover all other conference expenses. We particularly appreciate those who also want to share what they learn at the conference with others!

Application Guidelines

• Please complete the form with as much detail as possible to help us understand why you are applying for a scholarship.
• If you are applying for a scholarship, please wait to register until you hear the results from your application. If you have already registered or register before receiving the results, you will not receive a scholarship.
• After you apply, please don't expect an immediate response, it may take up to a week before you hear about the results from your application.
• There are a limited number of scholarship available and applications are processed in the order received.
• If you receive a scholarship, you will have a limited amount of time to register.
