The meeting began with these remarks by Jim Leach about the impetus for this work:
David Entin described his work in writing a letter to the new Secretary of HUD:
Rick Mockler shared his point of view about the Cohousing Movement
Katie McCamant talked about the economy and the real value of Cohousing.
After the introductions, the rest of the call consisted of comments made by the attendee, going round-robin. Because this portion was relatively confusing, it will take some time for us to do the editing to make it as useful for public posting. After the call, a post-call survey was conducted to get feedback on the call and to learn more about the types of actions that the activists in attendance were prepared to take. That survey will be modified into a more generic tool to collect similar information from many others.
