For serious people who want to pull together a cohousing project in Sonoma County, California. Green, environmentally aware, pesticide-free, toxin-free. Organic gardens. Play areas for children. Common space and activities.

Our first meeting will be April 29th at 1pm in Petaluma. If you'd like to attend, you are welcome. Please contact us.

In 2/07, we just started to pull people together to see if there is an interest. If a group of us work together, we can probably make it happen. My first choice is an area in or near Sebastopol, but I'm open to others: Petaluma, Cotati, Penngrove, Rohert Park, Occidental, Forestville, Graton, Healdsburg, Windsor, Santa Rosa, etc.

Housing in Sonoma County is very expensive. While costs go down with a shared project, they are still higher than in most parts of the country. Be prepared for buy-in prices of $300-500k (my best guess).

Looking for people who either have chemical sensitivity or who are very environmentally aware and who want to live as low-toxic as possible.
