Lovely Songaia home available for exchange

Do you live in cohousing? Do you have a vacation home? Would you like to trade homes for a week or more?

If we trade, you will experience community life at Songaia Cohousing, a lovely natural place near Seattle. While here, you can enjoy up to 5 Common House Meals with my wonderful neighbors, be comfortable in our lovely small home, and enjoy the many amenities that life in a healthy, happy cohousing community in the Pacific Northwest can bring.

You will stay in our very comfortable home (built to order in 2000):

• Upstairs master bedroom filled with books, a stereo, a very comfortable bed with fine linens!
• Upstairs private master bath, complete with a large shower for 2
• Computer nook with high speed wired net access
• Great room (complete kitchen/dining/living room) with HD TIVO, DVD, 32" LCD with input for Laptop
• Second bath off the great room w/6 foot jacuzzi whirlpool tub and fish tank
• Art room filled with supplies
• front porch overlooking Songaia commons, surrounded by our neighbors' homes - forest and fruit orchard views
• high speed wired and wireless internet conditions

Potential issues

• no smoking please
• we share our home with two interesting cats (indoor-only)

More important to many, our home is situated on 11 acres of beautiful land and we share:

Songaia is a 20-40 minute drive to downtown Seattle or Redmond/Bellevue.

The Pacific Northwest is a wondrous place to live and visit, filled with natural beauty and an interesting culture of book lovers, cultural creatives, coffee drinkers, hikers, etc. Even more importantly, you will be visiting an <i>intentional</i> cohousing community filled with people that really care about each other and have lots of fun and meaningful gatherings. You are very likely to feel really welcome as our neighbors become your short-term neighbors.

We are fortunate to have a lot of flexibility about timing, but you would probably most enjoy being here during the relatively dry summer months... or perhaps you have another reason to be in Seattle?

Our home only has one bedroom, so this is probably best for a single person or a couple or a small family that is willing to have their kid(s) sleep on the floor of our living room, with our cats! Use of one of our common house guest rooms or space in a neighbor's home is also a possibility, but would be more complicated.
