How does a Classified Advertiser edit their ad?

Print this pageWe got an email from a cohouser who wants to edit their current Classified Ad. Is this possible, or do we need to make the editorial changes to a live ad for them? If it is not possible today, we need to look ahead to a time when it is possible. It would be fine to link this to Premium Access, that is, require Premium Access in order to place or edit Classified Ads.

Right now we need to do
Right now we need to do edits - later on once we are creating logins for people who submit content they could do it themselves, but this might not be a good model (they could change the expiration date, add pictures, add bold, etc)
Maybe we do something like
Maybe we do something like putting the "admin control settings" for a Classified Ad into a different table? And use the control data to manage the display of the user-editable content in the Classified Ad record? (or something like that).
On a related note, since the Professional Directory includes a free, "directional" classified ad, every Professional Directory listing could just hold the data that is used to generate the directional ad. This is akin to the teaser text blurb attached to articles.... this is getting fun!
That would be totally cool
That would be totally cool except that drupal doesn't behave like that :) I'll look around though...
