DREAM LOCATION -- WOODED, CREEKSIDE, WALKABLE

We found our dream site, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Foothills. It is wooded, next to a year round creek, and yet walkable -- no need for a car to run errands. We are part of a larger eco-neighborhood: preserved open space, next to a senior cohousing community, and within two blocks of groceries, cafes, health club, and many stores and restaurants.

Our community is a mix of families, singles, and retirees, including environmental consultants, former teachers, a nurse, retired business people, computer professionals and a mix of other talents and interests. Some are local and some are relocating to the area for this project.

Grass Valley is a cultural oasis, and the historic downtown is just a short bike ride from our site. You'll find unique stores, hotels, bed & breakfast inns, wine tasting rooms, art galleries, restaurants, and entertainment. The area is bathed in a wondrous mix of cedar, pine, and an assortment of deciduous trees. The schools are excellent, and the elevation is low enough that it receives little if any snow, most years.

We broke ground in March, 2008, and expect the first homes to be completed in late 2009. Check us out!
