AGREE
Alignment with the group unity and support for the decision, ranging from zesty enthusiasm to "I can live with it."
STAND ASIDE
Like a dissenting opinion on the Supreme Court, standing aside allows a member to acknowledge significant disagreement or concern with the proposal, while allowing the group to move forward on it. Someone who stands aside is still bound to follow the decision, but is not expected to take leadership in implementing it.
BLOCK
If a member senses that a proposal would be disastrous for the group or violate its values, then it is that person's responsibility to stand in the way of the decision. Blocking prevents a proposal from being enacted.
Some groups add variations beyond these, such as "Agreement with Mild Reservations" or "Abstain - It's not appropriate for me to participate in this decision (due to missing information, conflict of interest, etc.)”.
