Meet the committed individuals who staff the Cohousing Association of the United States.
Our new Operations Manager, Michelle Rasa, is excited to be part of the Cohousing Association team. She has worked for non-profit organizations managing large teams of volunteers as well as community outreach programs. She has also come from a construction family background, learning how to build homes from the ground up. She has spent the past several year raising her family and is looking forward to putting all those experiences to good use.
Georgi Jenkins, Bookkeeper
Georgi Jenkins brings fifteen years of hospitality and three years management experience to Coho/US. Known for her warm smile, Georgi’s passion for helping people shines through as she delivers a “can-do” attitude to the cohousing community. She is a wife to a patient husband and mother to the most amazing son. Georgi is a small business owner; designing, sewing and selling aprons at the local farmers market. She feels blessed to be a part of such an incredible team and excited to help spread the mission of Coho/US.
Barbara Bansenauer, Advertising Manager
Our advertising manager, Barbara Bansenauer, has been involved with Songaia Cohousing Community since 1998 where she worked with new member marketing during Songaia's development. She has also worked in fundraising and marketing in the nonprofit world. She is delighted to be working with such an energetic team at coho/ US!
Catya Belfer, Technical Director
Our technical director, Catya Belfer, is part of Mosaic Commons about an hour west of Boston in Berlin, MA. Catya works as a project manager and also builds websites for cohousing groups and others. She is passionate about building connections between people, and has been involved in intentional communities since 1994. For more information, see http://www.catya.org
