Brian Bansenauer

Fred and Nancy Lanphear are a cofounder family of Songaia Cohousing Community. They have lived in intentional communities for over 35 year. Fred has been actively involved in promoting community living both regionally and nationally. His activity at Songaia has been most prominent in gardening and the landscape. Nancy’s activities have been as a key player in Songaia’s food program and in planning and facilitating community events and celebrations.

Rachel Lynnette lived at Songaia for eight years. She has recently moved but continues to participate in the food program and many other activities as an Associate Member. One of her major roles has been organizing community events.

Craig Ragland was one off the earliest members of Songaia in its formative stage and has continued to play a formative role in creating community patterns. He has been an active organizer of community events and a facilitator of celebrations. Craig has been on the Cohousing Association of the U.S. Board and is its current Executive Director.
