Description:

Polcum Springs is a collectively owned, permaculture homestead of 200-plus acres in Northern Mendocino County. We have laid much of the foundation during more than a decade of planning and building. Dwellings, a barn, PV, water systems, composting privies, ponds, a yurt, and a chicken coop are in place. Terraced polyculture gardens and orchard trees thrive on years of juicy compost. We are actively seeking new members and residents. Members collectively own the land as a limited liability company. Rentals are usually available. There is space for perhaps half a dozen more dwellings. We are seeking people who are serious about shared living, maintaining community, and healthy communication. Residents must be reliable and self-winding. Practical skills such as carpentry, plumbing, organizing, healing modalities, childcare, permaculture, and farming are highly valued.
