Heartwood Cohousing is a close-knit community of people who care about each other, support each other, and have fun together. We are blessed to live in a peaceful and beautiful place. Our close connection with Nature means we enjoy plenty of outdoor recreation and organic food grown on our own land. Strong relationships, low stress, playing outside, and eating local organic food add up to an exceptionally healthy lifestyle.

We are an established, multigenerational community (moved in in 2000) that is adding a second phase of 14 new homes (expected completion in 2025). We are located on 360 acres in sunny, southwest Colorado. A great little regional airport and high-speed internet mean that you could live close to millions of acres of uncrowded public lands while working remotely. We live in a nearly perfect four season climate where the Rocky Mountains meet the red rock canyons.
