Arcadia is an intergenerational suburban cohousing community in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, established in 1994. Thirty-three families share sixteen acres, eleven of which are woods with a stream running through them. Families own their homes and lots, share ownership of the common house and grounds, and enjoy additional amenities such as a fenced garden, bike sheds, guest rooms, and social events. We love to garden and to share the beauty of our neighborhood.
