Cohousing Forum – San Rafael

Wolf Creek Lodge, an established senior cohousing community in Grass Valley, CA and Phoenix Commons, a cooperative lifestyle community under construction on the Oakland waterfront, will be holding a senior (50+) cohousing forum in San Rafael on Saturday, July 12th.

Other sponsors include Elders Village, McCamant & Durrett Architects and Cohousing Partners. We are supported by Coho/US.

This is the third in a series of forums. The others were in Berkeley and Sacramento. Given the success of these two we will be following a similar format.

We will hear from the experts – Charles Durrett will discuss architecture, Kathryn McCamant will talk about the financial considerations for those planning a community.
You will have the opportunity to pose questions to a panel of cohousers and to discuss cohousing with other attendees in small break-out groups.

You will hear about existing cohousing communities and also about plans for a local community.
The forum will be from 1pm to 5pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin, 240 Channing Way, San Rafael, CA 94903. There will be a $20 fee at the door to cover room rental, promotion and other costs.
Please RSVP by sending an email to info@wolfcreeklodge.org .
