Community in Covid times

Observing Covid-19 safety measures hasn’t stopped Capitol Hill Urban Cohousing from experiencing community.  They’ve shared these images of community in Covid times.

Distanced eating in small groups – outdoors has been a boon over the summer months. We’re working on creative solutions for the colder/wetter months in Seattle. We purchased a $50 movie screen that can attach to things and have had outdoor movies for both kids and adults. Birthday parties are alive and well. We sign from our balconies and we bring our own plates, in our masks to pickup our cake. As the weather has started to get colder we’ve discovered there’s still plenty of airflow in in our bike room for the kids to watch a distanced/masked movie together. YAY!
