Why I'm interested:

I am seeking a place where I can feel comfortable aging in place, be less isolated while developing new relationships, be mutually supportive of other residents, and do so in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.

Other information:

Ownership of a unit in a cohousing community would be ideal, but I am hampered by my financial situation. A Community Land Trust (CLT) is a possible solution; otherwise, I would prefer to rent a unit (not just a room in a home). I prefer to be somewhat centrally located relative to my children and grandchildren who reside in the Chicago, NYC, and DFW areas. At this point, I am open to possibilities in PA, NY, MA, CT, MD, & VA.
