Why I’m interested:

as we get older being in community with friends becomes even more important to our health and happiness. We are planning ahead to create a community with like-minded people who want to have fun and truly LIVE the rest of our lives!

Other information:

We are interested in co-housing, preferably on a body of water, intergenerational or senior, with option of housing for caregivers. We would prefer single family homes. If not on water, still interested, just need to be able to commute to Charlotte, Salisbury, Kernersville and/or Columbia. We have land on Lake Wateree, SC 30 minutes from Columbia, SC and an hour from Charlotte, NC. The land is waterfront, in a rural setting, end of a cove and end of a road. Would love to have the common house on the water, share boat docks, boats, etc. so even those across the street from the lake would have access. We love being here but it is secluded so co-housing would be great for those who want to be in a rural setting on a lake and do not mind driving more than 20 minutes to the store. Does not need to be large community, could start with even a few households.
