Description:

Visit Elderberry Cohousing to experience senior cohousing in one of 18 townhomes in a beautiful rural setting just north of Durham, North Carolina!

Our energy-efficient, one-bedroom homes range from 1200 square feet to a “tiny house”, all surrounding our central Common House. View our current homes available on our website.

To live at Elderberry, you must first become a member. We encourage couples and singles who are interested to look at our self-questionnaires and our membership process in the Buying a Community section on our website.

We govern ourselves and share in the maintenance of our community, including our organic gardens, groves, and outbuildings (woodshop, log cabin) as well as the extensive network of woodland trails we share with our sister community Potluck Farm next door. We strongly believe in an active lifestyle and we enjoy doing that together.

To visit our homes, meet our members, begin our membership process and read our newsletters and blogs, go to our website and reach out to us on our Contact Us page. You can also follow ElderberryCohousing on Facebook.

We’d love to show you around, have you spend a few days in our guest room and talk to our members about what rural cohousing means to them.
