Joann Ware

Description

Joann is an architect with a deep passion for place-based participatory design processes. Her background in architecture includes six years spent experiencing project development from the owner’s perspective as an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow and affordable housing developer at InterIm CDA. She is also an expert on Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard (ESDS).
At Schemata Workshop, Joann has worked closely with clients on a variety of projects, both large and small. She is well regarded by clients and contractors and is well-versed with publicly funded projects and integrated design processes. She has managed consultants, overseen document production, and coordinated with local jurisdiction during design and construction. Her recent work includes project management of a Cohousing project in Skagit County.
