Description

Neil is a well-respected and knowledgeable figure in the intentional communities movement, specializing in cohousing, with over 20 years of experience. He is a co-developer and founding owner of a cohousing community in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Neil has extensive experience with the Cohousing Association of the US, where he served on both the board and staff, leading a national cohousing community tours program. His contributions also include being on multiple conference planning teams, event production, and years ago being part of a small team of technologists who enhanced the association’s online presence to extend its reach and impact.

He is currently the Executive Director of the Cohousing Research Network and a former Co-Director, now an advocate, at the Foundation for Intentional Community. Since 2003, Neil has worked with cohousing and intentional community residents and professionals, helping them deepen their community experience.

As a Certified Co-Active Coach, Neil offers life coaching to those seeking to enhance their connection to community, serving as a trusted guide, resource, and connector. He is highly regarded for his ability to help professionals in the ecosystem connect with one another, expand their offerings, and grow their businesses. Neil has been widely praised for his contributions and generosity within the intentional communities movement.
