Description:

The centerpiece of the project is the 200 acre Elk Heights Ranch.   A former dude ranch back as early as the 40’s,  the 6700 sqft lodge was newly built in 2006.   A log 4 plex guest facility was also built at the same time and is being used as Air B&B.    There is an enclosed riding arena and barn, 10 acre pasture, 60 acre private forest/trail system,  and adjoining public forest.

There is a 180 acre companion property 2 miles away that overlooks and descends down to the Yakima River Canyon and cross state trail.   It is called Yakima River Guest Ranch.

Phase 1-  Seeking 4 more steward members (5 total with founding member).   This group of like minded people will buy into the existing infrastructure on 25 acres the includes the 6700 sqft lodge and  2300 sq ft log guest house.   Each member will have exclusive use of one of four guest suites.    Each member will have access to all common areas of the ranch, forest, Yakima river recreation area, and Sunlight Waters lake front property.   Each member will have their choice of a premium building lot on 2 acres (with spacing).

Phase 2-  Elk Heights Ranch Equine Resort.    Steward members may be able to participate.    This will include an equine facility, event center, eco-cottages, and small retreat center.   Possible dining/gathering facility possibly open to public.  Tourist revenue from the equine resort will support residents of co-housing project in Phase 3.   The equine resort will focus on being in harmony with the land.

Phase 3- Create more traditional co-housing project on upper bench of 180 acre Yakima River property.

Steward members in Phase 1 will be able to buy a 1/5 equity stake into the project including existing infrastructure on 25 acres the includes the 6700 sqft lodge and  2300 sq ft log guest house.   Each member will have exclusive use of one of five guest suites.    Each member will have access to all common areas of the ranch, forest, Yakima river recreation area, and Sunlight Waters lake front property.   Each member will have their choice of a premium view building lot on 2 acres (with additional open spacing). A 1/5 share is $1,341,400. Can be financed at 6.5 %.

There is a rent with option to buy at $1795/month program.
