Description:

I am hoping to build a community in Penngrove on a property that has been subdivided into 4 lots. The county allows each lot to have one home, two ADUs up to 1200 square foot, and a junior ADU up to 500 for a total of 12-16 homes. We are looking for members with money and private investors to help make this happen. If we can’t buy this property we will be looking for other properties within a 3-5 mile radius of Cotati. This is the start of our in progress vision.
——
-all religions, ethnicities, genders, & sexual orientations are welcome
-non-mainstream and differing viewpoints are welcome and can be discussed with curiosity rather than judgment
-vaccination and non-vaccination are both considered perfectly acceptable choices
-holistic healing and energy healing are embraced as complementary to and sometimes an alternative to mainstream medicine
-I know my neighbors and feel comfortable talking to them
-there is enough land for us to go off by ourselves and not be disturbed
-we garden organically without pesticides
-we have healthy community meals 2x or more per week
-eating meat is fine
-we communicate cleanly and honestly
-we can resolve conflict and not bury it
-we have spontaneous and planned community events (dancing? yoga? music jams? book club? singing? conversation by a fire pit? diverse holiday celebrations?)
-we share our skills and help each other out
