Description:

Washington Village is a multi-generational cohousing community built around the historic Washington Elementary School in the heart of Boulder, CO. It has 36 private residences, and 2 commercial units, with approximately 7,500 square feet of shared common space. Legally, we are structured as an HOA, but residents enjoy the benefits of cohousing practices, which help us form meaningful social connections through community activities and strengthen our sense of community as we work together to maintain and improve both our property and our social well being. Our residents share interests in art, music, movies, theater, cooking, gardening, hiking, playing games, and helping kids grow. We are fortunate to live in a beautiful place that includes a large community kitchen, dining, two guest rooms, living and exercise areas, as well as community gardens, courtyards, a pocket park, a wood shop & bike repair, library, fireside lounge, large space for arts & crafts and other amenities. Our city offers a quality of life not found anywhere else. Boulder is a city whose culture promotes healthy living practices, attracts active families and entrepreneurs.”
