Description:

We are a cohousing community comprised of 30 households. Established in 1992, we are the first cohousing community in the US to be built by the co-owners. We are structured as a housing cooperative.

We are a multi-generational community and we love our resident children. Once the pandemic situation eases and it’s safe, we’ll resume our common meal system in which we share dinners five nights every week.

We use consensus for community decision making. Every adult contributes to the work of maintaining our shared community resources (buildings and grounds), sustaining and enhancing our social lives, or assuring good governance practices.
