Building a multi-generational neighborhood in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley! JHC is located in the small city of Harrisonburg, Virginia (population ~ 54,000). We’re a artsy, sustainably-minded, social-justice oriented, garden-growing, fun-loving group of mostly introverts.  Even so, we’re looking forward to common meals, fire-pit chats, art parties, movie watching, lego building, garden-growing and just chillin’ on the front porches together. 

We’re looking for more kids and adults of all ages to join us as neighbors! Harrisonburg is a family-friendly university town with access to lots of nature- we love it here, and we think you will too!  Breaking ground summer of 2021, and moving in early 2022.
