Juniper Hill Commons: Information Session
Join a cohousing neighborhood in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley! We’re looking for more kids and adults of all ages to join us as neighbors!
We’re a multi-generational group building homes in Harrisonburg, Virginia, a small university city of ~54,000 people and nicknamed “The Friendly City”. It’s a great place to raise kids, with a dual-language public school program available (half day taught in Spanish, half in English), the nationally acclaimed Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir, and the rockin’ Explore More Children’s Museum. Harrisonburg is a family-friendly, culturally diverse town with access to lots of nature- we love it here, and we think you will too!
Our group is an artsy, sustainably-minded, social-justice oriented, garden-growing, fun-loving group of mostly introverts. Even so, we’re looking forward to common meals, fire-pit chats, art parties, movie watching, lego building, plant-swapping and just chillin’ on the front porches together. We’re planning to break ground the last couple of months of 2021/beginning of 2022! . Interested in hearing more? Come to our information session and you’ll get the latest on our plans and find out if you’d like to live in “The Friendly City” too!
