ILLINOIS’ FIRST COHOUSING COMMUNITY BREAKS GROUND

Oak Park, Illinois – After five years of persistent work, the founding members of the Oak Park Commons Cohousing Community are excited to announce the groundbreaking for their new 24-unit, five story condominium building. The event will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, at 839 West Madison Street, Oak Park, Illinois 60302. Local residents, businesses, media, and stakeholders are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony. 

Oak Park Commons will be a National Green Building Standard Silver certified building.  Now at 60% capacity, the building has one, two, and three-bedroom units available for purchase.
