Ann Lehman

Annie, raised on the East Coast, has worked in the public interest arena for more than 40 years as a lawyer, executive director and community organizer.

She started her career running a storefront legal office in Portland, Oregon, geared to seniors. As the policy director for the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women, Ann gave sexual harassment training many years before the #MeToo movement. Annie, with her late husband, ran Zimmerman Lehman, a consulting group assisting nonprofits in forging sustainable futures.

She recently returned to Portland in 2016 to join PDX Commons, a senior cohousing, which opened in July 2017, fulfilling her long-standing dream to live in an intentional community.  Ann graduated in 2019 from yoga teacher training and started a Yoga 4 Savvy Bodies practice in Portland, Oregon.
