Description:

Ecovillage at Ithaca was founded in 1991 in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Sitting on 170 acres of former agricultural land, the community now has three cohousing neighborhoods, four farms, and over 200 residents. With an emphasis on sustainable building and land partnership practices, EVI has long been a model for sustainable community and includes an education and outreach arm, Thrive, to continue the mission of sharing the lessons learned from our 30+ year history.
