Special Series with SABA: Join us for two online and one live event

We’ve all been hearing a lot about the importance of electric cars to reduce climate change emissions. We think e-bikes can have an equal or greater role to play and we endeavor to encourage this form of travel in the Sacramento region. Members of Washington Commons take pride in our bike-friendly location, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Our building will also include excellent bicycle storage on the ground floor!

We are excited to offer the following series of E-bike focused events and we hope you can join us for one, two or all three sessions:

SEPTEMBER 21, Wednesday
6:00 – 7:00 p.m. (PDT)
We are kicking off the series with a ZOOM presentation about the importance of e-bikes from bicycle expert, Peter Jacobsen.
Deb Banks, Executive Director of SABA (Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates) will give her perspective as will Steven Rosen of the City of West Sacramento, about the City’s plans to support safety for increased bicycling throughout West Sacramento.

OCTOBER 6, Thursday
6:00 – 7:00 p.m. (PDT)
Our second session will also be on ZOOM.  We’ll have a practical discussion about what’s available and how to select an e-bike from experts in our region.  If you’ve had questions about E-bikes and/or are thinking of purchasing one, this will be a great session to learn more.

OCTOBER 22, Saturday
Morning (exact time TBD) (PDT)
Finally, on Saturday morning, October 22 we are planning an e-bike round-up with various e-bikes available to look at and some to ride.
