Carolyn comes to CohoUS with a background in communications, strategic consulting, and project management. She began her career working in entertainment public relations where she focused on film and TV award campaigns. Quickly realizing she preferred mission-driven, advocacy-oriented work, Carolyn spent eight years in both agency and in-house roles, where she provided communications and strategic consulting support to clients around topics ranging from housing to education and from immigration to criminal justice reform. 

In the process, she expanded her skillset, developing an affinity for helping clients and organizations blend big-picture ideas with the tactics needed to get things done.

Despite leaving Los Angeles for the rainier skies of Oregon and picking up a major gardening habit, Carolyn loves television and movies as much as ever.
